Just came back from Kuala Terengganu (my hometown), had a great time back there, catching up with my family, friends and not to be forgotten, my pets :)
I've did nothing much back there except catching the Monsoon Cup live, had band practices, played left 4 dead 2, and attended my friend's wedding.
Hmm... where to start? i guess i just focus on the main purpose of the homecoming, Willy Yee & Connie Kong's Wedding :)
Here is it, the picture of the bride and groom. I'm friends with Willy Yee (the groom) and yeah he's a lucky guy :)I was so excited about the marriage, i can't even sleep early the night before the actual day.
We had rehearsals the day before and it ended at late night, everyone was excited and pumped up for the wedding day.
Thanks to the girls who helped out with the decorations, it's so sweet.
I was asked to be one of ''THE BROTHERS'' for the wedding, what an honor :) we headed out early in the morning and played games to get to the bride, it was kinda painful. After that, was the wedding ceremony which is the best part because there's a kissing scene.
i was asking to myself, when is my turn? XD
Willy sang live and dedicated a love song to his bride which caused this touching scene, some cried along, even willy himself cried during his singing. I'm glad that i din messed up playing the song :)
And finally, the wedding dinner to sum up the whole celebration.
The luckiest man alive giving his speech.
They then performed a song together, the bride and the groom both sang a Chinese love song. Both of them can really sing, their voices harmonized in tune, i enjoyed the performance. Then Willy dedicated the same song he did on the wedding ceremony again but this time in acoustic style with me playing the guitar and sister Sarah on the keyboards. Glad i didn't mess up :)
I've been to a number of weddings and i never been to a wedding that i know is really pure. I've seen brides with a long face cutting cakes, i felt unsatisfactorily between brides and grooms, I've witness many of the not so happy weddings. But witnessing their love live on stage or off stage, i really felt the peacefulness of these two, that they are happily married.Congrats
